It is better for men to be judged of God than of men becuase God’s judgements are always just. Earthly kings can lead to problems, unless you can always have just men to be your kings. The Israielites desired to have a king for protection, but were warned against the problems having a king would likely bring and encouraged to put their trust in the Lord and let him “rule over them.” The Nephites were similarly encouraged by King Mosiah to move to a different system of goverment besides kings because of these issues. Jesus Christ is our king and has every attribute that allow us to put our trust in him. Let us look to him and put our faith in him and look to him for portection and guidance and grace.
