It is abundantly clear that the prophets in the Book of Mormon knew the foretold coming of Christ, His suffering, death, and resurrection. King Benjamin received a detailed record of what would be, including the Savior’s title: Jesus Christ from the Greek, which would not have been available to them otherwise. The Book of Mormon is replete with passages that testify that salvation cometh only in and through the name of Jesus and in no other way. As you celebrate Easter this season, remember why it is that we rejoice and know that the Book of Mormon solidly testifies that Christ lives—that He suffered for us, was baptized to fulfill all righteousness, and that He truly was resurrected. He brings healing in His wings, and we too can be healed and perfected in Him.
